I have never been a New Years Resolution kind of girl. And I don't think that I'll start this coming year. But I do know that I want to make a few changes and do things different...so I think that I am going to start this week. I guess you could say it's kind of a head start.
The first thing that I want to start with is my health. Both my boyfriend and I have sat down and talked about getting healthy!! We both could stand to loose a few (or more) pounds plus we just want to get healthy. One of the reasons we are starting this week is because we need to go grocery shopping. We have cleaned out our cabinets and fridge and we are ready to stock up with healthier foods. The one thing that I have to give up is soda. I have done this before and lost weight so I know I can do it again. So I will go into more detail in another blog.
Second, I am determined to do project "10" pan. I am not sure how many "pans" I want to do yet. Tomorrow morning I think I will come up with a more firm number. I just know that I have PLENTY of make up and do not need to purchase any more. I have some that I have already purchased but have not received yet...so those don't count. I would also like to find a way to sell or give some of the make up away that I do not like or will never use away. I want it to have a good home.
The third thing is that I want to go back to school. So I am on the search for the school I want to attend.
I am not going to go into detail about school just yet. But all of these will get their own blogs soon. If any of you have done any of these and have advice to offer, I am all ears.
I guess I better head to bed, got to get up early for work....not fun after a long weekend.
Welcome to my thoughts
Thank you for taking a few mintues to read my thoughts. Some might like what I have to say and many probably will not. This is just my page to let thoughts flow.

New Favorite Foundation
I have been in search for a good foundation for my oily skin. I have bought and tried so many foundations (mostly drugstore) but had yet to find anything that even came close to helping my oil or even having a decent coverage. That is until a couple weeks ago. I finally decided that I would take the plunge and spend the money on a high end foundation. My best friend and I went to the MAC store to look around. I ask the MA if she had anything good for oily skin and she said to try MAC Pro Longwear. The MA color matched me to NC 25....I have to say that is the best color I have EVER wore. It is more yellow which neutralizes the red I have in my face.
I am still in the "testing" stages but so far I have nothing but love for this foundation. My oil has been under great control and this foundation lasts all day. I am still trying different ways of application. So far I have used a foundation brush and a moist blending sponge. Both have been good ways of application.
I will keep you updated on what I think of this foundation.
P.S. I do set this with my MSF Natural in Medium Plus.
Best hair tool...EVER!
OK, first off I want to say sorry for being MIA for....FOREVER. I am back and will try my hardest to keep up on this blog....TRY!! I wanted to tell you all about this amazing brush, I am sure most of you have heard of it, but I want to tell you about it anyhow.
The specific brush that I am talking about is this BrushLab {Fresh} Thermal Round Jumbo Brush. The one I have is the 3.5" round. It retails for $16.00 on www.brushlab.com. However, I bought mine from www.ulta.com.
I heard about this brush first from Lisalisad1 on YouTube. After hearing her talk about it I saw a few other videos and decided I had to try it. NO REGRETS!!!! It is the best hair tool I have ever used.
Here is a little background on my hair...I have thick curly long hair. It is more coarse from the roots then out about 2"-3" then it starts to get more wavy. I hated my hair in elementary and middle school. I started to figure out how to work with it during high school. I would wash it the night before, dry it a little, pull it back into a braid and sleep with it like that. Then I would wake up extra early blow dry it then hit it with the flat iron. Even with leaving it over night, blow drying itself took right at an hour. During college I tried different things here and there with tips from friends. Up until about a few years ago from start to finish straightening my hair was still at an hour or so. My boyfriend hated when I would say I am going to straighten my hair...he knew that meet I would be doing that for over an hour. But that all has since changed since finding the most amazing brush ever!! It now takes me start to finish 20-30 minutes. Plus no flat iron needed!!! I hold it close to the roots (obviously with the hair wrapped around it) hold the blow dryer on it there for awhile and then move out to the ends and that's it...DONE!
So there you go...my thoughts on this product. They offer different sizes and styles. I have not tried any other of their products but if this brush says anything about their other products I would say they are pretty good. I think that I might purchase the two small sized ones as well. I think they would be good for finishing tools. I hope this was helpful to some of you.
